I didn't run yesterday, or the day before that. Or the two days before that. I drank wine and ate chocolate and snuggled and made pancakes and worked and slept in and didn't sleep enough and I was needy. I should have finished W4D3 last week but I didn't because I didn't feel like it and life happened. Today I couldn't wait to get my shoes on. I didn't follow the guide, I just did 5k. I ran hard when I could and walked when I needed to and enjoyed the cool air and the feeling of my legs working hard. I stopped and said hi to my sister and her kids. I finished strong. I did not qualify for Boston, but today I ran.
