I think ppl tend to forget fic writers are people behind the screens with lives going on. We love writing and we do it for free, but it's also a lot of work - mentally and the writing and editing and formatting and all that stuff. Ppl understanding writers aren't just random content generators helps a lot. Like we understand y'all want the next chapters to read, we very much want to write the next chapters and stuff, but it's not always possible. People who can push themselves to write constantly and get that content out always impress me so much and should get so much praise for it.

I'm just not built like that and with so much going on I just want to lay in bed with my cats and take a five hour nap.

thank you for responding, i really really hope that you know that you and your work is appreciated, maybe that’ll help the lack of cooperation of your muse and matt!! i assume it’s maybe similar to writers block, so i really hope you’re able to solve that issue (not just for the fic but for your own sanity as well) 🤗🤗🤗

i just reread it again and ughhh they are so cute. maybe if your muse and matt are ‘fighting’, what if you have a filler chapter of just reader and minnie? leave matt to his own demons lol

Exactly :) a personification of creativity and the desire to create.

It is kind of like writers block, but there's also a lot of non Muse issues that make it hard to write right now. I have a lot of stuff going on and I haven't got the energy to deal with the other aspects of writing, like editing or sitting there waiting for feedback and stuff.

The only glimpse of my Muse I've seen in months was for a ficlet about Captain Hydra Steve Rogers and I doubt anyone but the lovely @bellaxgiornata would care about that bc he's an evil fascist.

And sadly trying to avoid Matt for a Matt based fic doesn't work. Matt is not even in the next chapter of And then I met you but I still haven't been able to lure that muse back. I'm hoping when the new Spider-Man film hits streaming and I'm able to watch it that might trigger something, since Peter is in the next chapter, but who knows

The muses were goddesses in Greek mythos who would give ppl creativity and inspiration to create. It helps me to personify my desire to write/create bc it kinda helps to explain the process?? Like I love Matt and Minnie and daredevil but my muse and Matt kinda got into a fight and I haven't really been inspired to write for him since.

Ahhhh thank you so so much. I can't believe people are still going back and rereading it still, that makes me so happy. I have been feeling lately that no one is reading my work anymore and no one cares about my writing at all so it's so nice to hear that's not the case 🧡🧡

I don't want to abandon the fic, I really do love it and I love Minnie so much, but the decline in feedback really got to me, and I lost my muse for Matt very badly. Lately life has been rough and I've had no desire to write anything.. Honestly, I've barely been able to daydream at all and think up ideas.
