The Quiet Epidemic Hidden in Plain Sight Every doctor has patients who never appear to have a drug problem. (Also, I call it "WBAD" as I'm not confident enough to share the title yet—mainly because I don’t even know when I’ll actually move forward with writing it lol I’ve been stuck revising the same five chapters since January 2024, but I am finally getting somewhere. YES, I’ve gone over them again and again because every time I pause for months, I tend to forget what I last wrote… and then I end up revising everything all over again.)

(And with this current attempt, I’ve decided to change the entire thing from 1st person POV to 3rd person POV, because I feel like it fits my writing style better. Yep. Figured that out a decade later.)

I started writing the plot for this story back in late 2017. It began as a fan fiction for a ship I used to like, but I never got around to finishing it.

Life moved on, things changed. But writing a full-length novel / book / whatever kind of piece you wanna call it, has always been on my bucket list—whether it ends up being shared with others, saved in a folder on my computer, or printed and shelved just for myself. So, I thought I’d revisit this story and try to work on it again—this time as an original piece.

I don’t know where this will take me. I’m not even 100% familiar with how to share works on AO3 or here (formatting, tagging, posting, and all that). Still, I figured it’s about time I start putting little bits and pieces of my thoughts or creations out there (whether anyone reads them or not).

Anyway… I’m going to try. I’m not a professional writer by any means. English isn’t my first language. But I do my best. I’ve been writing for over a decade now—mostly personal stuff. And prior to that, I used to write cheesy fanfics for the ships I followed when I was 14. They weren’t great, but hey, I tried.

Now, more than ten years later, I’m hoping I’ve improved, and I want to share my creations with anyone who might be interested.

Well, that’s it. Just wanted to post a quick intro before I start dumping random stuff here. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release a few short stories along the way as I attempt to finish my first book.
