Also. What's Villanelle's take on the public DTR? Is she on the same page as Eve, dealing it because that's what Eve wants? Does it bother her a smidgen? Or does she genuinely not care, whatever Eve gives her=yes?

i switched bc a. spotify started running ICE ads, and 2. aside from bandcamp, it's close to if not the highest paying streaming platform for artists! the difference in sound quality is actually astonishing as well

and speaking of relationshippppppp i did have to look up what DTR meant which made me feel old but you pretty much hit the nail on the head, she's happy doing what eve wants bc atp she knows she has to let eve come to her in whatever way that may be. she's also i think more aware of the whole "fucking while doctor-patient" of their relationship and the optics of that since technically she's the one abusing her power there. i also think that if eve were to be like lets be a couple vil would be very ready to deny eve what she wants as per usual as both a teehee omg she wants meeee but also bc there are still far too many unknowns between them for her to be comfortable risking what they currently have now. she doesn't know what she wants from eve in terms of DTR bc she just wants eve

i did think ab new years !! but w 3 holiday centric chapters already i was like hmmm... it would feel like only writing the chapter for new years, not something that leant to the actual story; christmas is huge for abigail, vil and eve, the party is huge for vil and eve, new years just feels extraneous. i also think eve the perpetual pessimist would not be into celebrating new years and vil would probably lie to her friends that she had plans and then go snatch some poor celebrating soul up
