Here is the thing; creative fans’ ideas are not stolen, the fans PROJECT their ideas and theories onto this show’s writing, thinking that is how it is and that they unraveled it and are now satisfied. But in reality, nothing of such is really written or confirmed. (This is what “projecting” means) None of the ideas or theories from fans are well-written per se, it’s just in the projecting part. You do the writing part and think the show did that. Assuming you make this Strawman out of Lily Orchard’s quote, she called the theory of Rose being Pink Diamond the most horrendous theory and that is the one Rebecca Sugar went with. The worst one.

That the show is a racist rancid mess is a different topic. (Like not really but we gotta divide general story telling and morals here for you to understand.) The criticism the show gets are not necessarily from the same people who make theories. EVERYONE makes theories. Stans too. The whole take here is that you stans do not see that SU really is not worth the defense. The power was in you all along. You are the one creating what you like to see. And that’s all the more impressive when you lack reading comprehension.

This creates major flaws in the show’s writing.

• It shouldn’t have taken just 5 episodes for a reveal this big.

• This makes certain plot holes/inconsistencies way worse

- Every episode regarding Pearl’s individuality & freedom is now invalidated

- The heat compression thing is not common knowledge, why was this just written into the episode? A major plot point? No.

- Amethyst has eaten immense amounts of food countless times, and has never regurgitated (*Specifically Crack The Whip features Amethyst eating then getting poofed)

• The mural????? This was planned?!♦️→💎???? The rotation and all? 2 Seasons later in Garnet’s flashback, Pink is again shown with a quadrilateral♦️gem shape.

• Seriously this shouldn’t even have been possible to introduce and carry out in 5 episodes.

Bonus: Why was so anxious Yellow Diamond to end the trial? What was the importance of any of this episode.

Bonus Bonus: How does nobody recognize Pearl? [Pre Crystal Gem] Garnet mentioned in The Answer ‘[Rose’s] terrifying renegade Pearl’ so they had to have known about her. She’s come face-to-face with several homeworld gems including Blue and Yellow Diamond, although briefly. Was there no profile on her? Zircon wya?
