Wayafter - Missembaal City

During the Founding Years, the Founder Yhena came to this distant part of the Great Arrival with her great Clan, in search of her lost kin, who had ventured here before them. Leading these lost Arrivals was her son, Missem. When Yhena made it to the ruins of a grand city, traces of her son's journey appeared to lead to the northern shore, implying that her son had set sail northwards into the unruly waters later known as Misra's Mirror. And so, Yhena decided to remain here to wait for her son's return, thus founding the Third City, Missembaal.

Missembaal is most known as the city of Wayfarers, Waysworn, and Travellers. It is a city dedicated to the preparation of Expeditions and their journeys, most of which involve the Dawn Frontier, since Missembaal lies closest to that particular Frontier. In addition to being a city of travellers, it is also home to the Way Academy, which is the largest place of education and training for potential Wayfinders. The Way Academy also boasts the largest archives of collected maps and journal notes in regards to the exploration of the Wayafter.
