Through surf therapy the @waveprojectuk help young people reduce their anxiety and improve confidence. The Wave Project’s surf courses help their clients feel calmer, more motivated and better about their future. Providing surfing lessons for young people with mental health issues is a way of getting them outside, doing physical exercise and feeling more confident about themselves. Since starting in Cornwall back in 2010, they’ve supported over 3,000 young people and now have locations across the UK.
