Teddy visited the Water Cube and the Bird’s Nest while in Beijing. This was particularly nice for his photographer who distinctly remembered watching Michael Phelps dominate the pool in the 2008 Olympics.

The #birdsnest isn't the only #architecturalmarvel to, well, marvel at at the Olympics arena in #Beijing. Right across from it is also the #nationalaquaticscenter or the #watercube which is equally eye-catching. It's a pity then that I could not explore these two structures in detail, given that the instructions on the #citybustour that I had taken were in Chinese and I didn't exactly know how much time I had on my hand.
