Teddy leaned his head back to gain the optimal angle to smell this Larkspur in the Royal Botanical Gardens of Sydney. The tall stalks with pinks and purples called Teddy over from quite a distance on his walk around the Botanical Gardens. He’s happy to say that it was worth the meander to get a closer peak at these beautiful blooms. 

Teddy was out to get some pollen on his nose. On this occasion he came across a bougainvillea while out on a walk. He was pleased by the colorful blooms but, possibly even more so, that he managed to avoid any of the thorns on the plant in his search for its pollen. 

I ain’t saying he’s a gangster but I Shavano other ideas what he could be here.

Teddy leaned over as far as he could to get closer to this Protea that was reminiscent of a perfect sunset at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Teddy knows that Fall is in the air when the quaking aspen turn mountainsides into sweeping yellow landscapes. Almost as if by an artist with seemingly rogue brushstrokes, Teddy marveled at the beauty created with such ease on this clear autumn day.

Teddy tried to count the Twelve Apostles but, between the celestial rays peaking out of the dynamic clouds and the wash of the waves he quickly lost himself in the seascape.

Teddy and his photographer met many summers ago while tromping through the woods in New Mexico. The sighting of sunflowers was something we learned then as a clear sign that summer was coming to an end and a new adventure was on the horizon. How fitting it felt on this occasion to have sunflowers blooming with the setting sun highlighting the end of another escapade.

From a distance, while walking through the Sydney Botanical Gardens, Teddy spied these red King Protea flowers and simply had to rest on a rock nearby to enjoy.
