Back From A Walk. A fast watercolour demo. (via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Weip0WffTy4)
I paint large scale so my tips may or may not help. First I soak the paper in the tub for about half an hour to stretch it. I then put it on a large piece of plywood and smooth it out while the paper is wet. I staple scrap board pieces through the paper and into the wood creating a frame. From there I start painting. When done I remove the staples, the mat board, and voila, all done.
Aahh thank you so much!!! I’m gonna definitely try this method next time I paint! :)
Hope you don’t mind me placing the link your tutorial that you sent me here for other people who might want to try a watercolour painting too, thank you for such an awesome tutorial!!!
