I was not going to write about this display of love that I was shown last week. A few people knew about it but I would like to share my heart about GOD. I was driving down the freeway around 5:15ish am and between 65-70mph in the slow lane. I was changing lanes cause I was behind a diesel and it was raining. So I begun to get into the middle lane and I saw it. Around five to six feet long and about foot high aluminum ladder type structure in that middle lane. Maybe around twenty feet ahead but at that speed less than ten feet to miss. I tried to pass it on my left but I didn't. I clipped it on my front passenger side and started to spin out of control. I cannot tell you how many revolutions I turned. I just know where I started. Around a quarter of a mile. While spinning all I remember is asking GOD to please to not wreck my car. Not for safety. Not for dying. Just protect my car. You see, my car will be fifteen years old on my bday. The Lord blessed me via my Dad and older sis Sherilyn to receive that blessing. So I never want to give it up. As I turned my steering wheel left and right to help stop the spinning on the wet road. Missing every other vehicle on the road that morning. GOD stopped me perfectly. As I looked up my car was only four feet or so from getting me out of danger. I simply pull forward and I was off the lanes of the freeway. Safe. Only a flat tire. No damage to my car and no damage to myself. A little over an hour later I was at work driving over ten hours to St. Louis. Now a week later I sit in Discount Tire getting a new tire for free. My tires were still under warranty and I didn't even know it. But GOD did. Prior to my accident I was able to rotate my tires and put on brand new suspension too. Yes, I know I am truly loved. GOD was watching over me even when I did not even realize it. Blessing me to get all of that work done to my car BEFORE that morning. The best part of this story is that I just finished praying right before I changed lanes.
