Waste-Free November Happy Halloween witches! On this particular Hallow’s eve, my sister and I are gearing up for the start of our waste-free November challenge. It is mainly a challenge to ourselves but we thought why not open it up for people who may want to participate. So without further ado, starting tomorrow we are challenging ourselves as well as our followers to participate in a waste-free November. Plastic can be found in everything in our daily lives from single-use containers like shampoo and conditioner to smaller things like table salt. Did you know that 90% of Table salt is now contaminated with micro plastics? 1 million plastic bottles are bought every minute, and 91% of plastic isn’t recycled. It’s no wonder the earth is drowning in plastic. So we are challenging ourselves to use less plastic for the next month and would like you to join us.
