Commentary: This is Mushy! He’s a washbird animal ambassador. He can’t be released back into the wild due to having neurological damage from being hit by a car when he was younger (and because of it now can’t grip his hands/feet very much, bite very hard, or balance/walk very well), so he now lives at the science center and helps Dr. Patty Forester educate people about Washbirds. His name is Mushy because he can only eat mushed up food, his favorite is mushed banana.
