I wish this fandom would be more considerate towards younger fans sometimes. Like I can recall a roleplayer in particular who was 13 -- and explicitly stated they were 13 where it could be seen -- who wanted nothing to do with sexual stuff, but I think they ended up leaving because they played rodimus and got blasted with sexual anons over and over and over because ppl HC Rodimus as some kind of sex god and idk... felt some sort of entitlement to it? It was gross... don’t do that stuff.... they were 13.... And before anyone says “well they’re a kid they shouldn’t have been on tunglr in the first place!!” tumblr’s policy is that u may join if u are 13 and up. So. 

And the way some parts of the fandom act towards shows and toys that are clearly marketed towards a younger audience (rescue bots, RID2k15, those 1 step change toys, etc.) Is just so derisive and comes off a lot of the time as “WHY DIDN’T THEY CATER TO ME WHY IS THIS SO CHILDISH” like ...... shockingly enough the kids shows are.... geared towards kids .... it’s not for you.

I suppose a case could be made for n/s/f/w stuff being easy to stumble upon and get shined in your face whether you wanna see it or not , but I think for the most part the TF Fandom has gotten better at tagging stuff like that and hasn’t been a big problem in a while. So long as it’s tagged and able to be blacklisted or kept out of the way of kids (or rly just anyone who doesn’t wanna see it) I have no problem with it. But I suppose it’s something people don’t keep in mind like.... aside from the comics most TF continuities thus far have been aimed at kids so there will be kids going out and looking for stuff relating to the cartoon they love so just please try and keep your n/s/f/w stuff in a place where they can’t get to it. I’d hate to be a parent who has to explain to their child why bumblebee is sucking a dick or smth...

Tarn hasn’t realized how much a lack of optics actually bothered him until it wasn’t on the faceplate of his teammate.
