Ladymeows and Gentlecats! May we have your attention purrlease? We need your help! There are so many needy and good causes in the US that the Cat Communities already help. I'm hoping you can spread your horizons a little and help us with a cause that is close to our furry little hearts. As you may know we live in the small village of Albion in the U.K. We would like to tell you all about a British pet charity organization called The Blue Cross. The Blue Cross has been dedicated to helping sick, injured and homeless pets since 1897. Their vision is that every pet will enjoy a healthy life in a happy home. They are using tiny baby socks to keep the pawsie's paws warm while they are being treated under anaesthesia. Under anaesthesia pawsies lose heat through their paws, which slows down how quickly their drugs get to work and their recovery time. They are asking everypawdy to donate some new or clean freshly laundered baby socks. We would like to put our social media accounts to good use! We are planning a huge sock raising project! So if you would like to get involved, get your bum off the couch, and nick those socks off the feet of your hooman baby siblings, grab your hooman’s credit card and order a few pair, or just guilt-meow hoomom into making some hand knitted ones. You can then post them to our mailbox (address in our profile, but here you have it again: Suite 303, 254 Pentonville Road, N1 9JY), and then resume your usual napping! When we have a nice little stockpile of baby socks we will hand them off to the right paws! We hope you can all join us in this good cause!
