I DREAMT OF WARHOL’S FACTORY. I’ve always fantasized of an idealized Warhol’s Factory, living with this artistic community of inspiration, play, and trouble. I somehow perceive myself as a loner and never really part of a collective. Every effort I’ve tried, never seemed to materialize. Many could see me as social, but I always imagine myself in the corner observing others. I was inspired by last Friday’s @autremagazine party in the Warhol Factory Photo Show. It was nice to see friends I haven’t seen since the pandemic. Some of the Velvet Underground, Lou, John, Nico. Even though it was a different era, I invited Haring & Basquiat to the party. Even Valerie Solaras, if she promised to keep her gun in her bag. I had to have Toby and Blackie the Cat too.
