Sadly, this is the end of the documentation. I did finish the vest - and I’ve worn it quite a bit! - so I’ll have to make some time to properly photograph it soon. Do I want another one, maybe without the giant hood? Absolutely.

I go through fits and bursts of making my own clothes, and the latest stint has resulted in new pajamas! I’ve had the fabric for a bit - since before I moved! - and it was exciting to get it out and start sewing it up.

Throwback project, part 3
The dark blue fabric is linen remnants from the stash - I had just enough for the vest and hood! - and the epp blocks are mostly from an Alexia Abegg charm pack. The lining is a lighter blue double gauze. For the batting I used up every last scrap of 100% wool batting I had. Very cozy!
Back to the throwback project!
I have a habit of starting epp projects without considering the amount of time investment they’ll require. This quilted vest was no exception, and I would learn nothing from it, as evidenced by the Couch Pillows of Summer 2022
