he’s silent in response at first. it’s hard, looking at the woman he’s known as clarke griffin his whole life and accepting that while she is clarke she is also undeniably changed. of course his reaction would be that she was forced to change; that this title, wanheda , was more of a curse than a gift.  honestly even now he’s still trying to wrap his head around it. he swallowed the lump in his throat,  unsure if he truly wanted to know the answer to his next question. “ and how did you do that? ”

she’s cautious,  curious of what polis has to offer someone like her,  but still cautious nonetheless.  raven’s short time on the ground hasn’t taught her to trust the likes of strangers but living out the rest of her life in fear of the unknown didn’t suit her.
