Strange. The Shimazu warrior thought as he brought another one to the castle and lays the newcomer there. So far, he has no injuries but for some reason, why does this one smell like a wet dog?

Toyohisa’s nose has a habit of picking up certain things since he can smell fire like feet away or a mile. He knows what dog smells like when it’s wet. Back home, dogs are either pets or food depending on the circumstance. However, he hasn’t encountered any wild dogs in the woods.

“You think you can beat me just ‘cause you’re bigger? Well, I’ll surprise you; watch this!” Ike threatened, trying to shift Kai one way or another in this little wrestling match of theirs. His boots scuffed in the dirt, and he really was putting his all into moving her, but no matter how strong he was for a child, it didn’t really compare to someone like Kai.

With one, swift movement, Ike was left grunting on his back -- a surprisingly shrill screech escaping him at suddenly being pinned.

“ You can have mine. I can’t eat chocolate anyway.”

Oh! Someone he’d yet to meet! Bowing his head slightly in greeting, he adds in a soft ‘hello!’ before turning his attention to the cookies stacked up around the room, then back at the nice lady that… smelled kind of like a dog?

“Well, if you can’t have cookies…” He starts, sorting through the itinerary of other items he’s got squirreled away in his room. After a search, he returns with a small glass jar filled with peanut butter. “I do have this! I think it’s what you wanted — we don’t have it back home in Valentia, but some folks from other places recommended to have it with bread and such. Didn’t get to try, but there’s always next time.” His hands extend, jar on hand, with a grin on his face. “Here you go!”
