5. What became of Alistair after the Landsmeet? How did your Warden feel about their decision of Alistair’s future?

Alistair remained a Grey Warden with Mavis, of course! Mavis actually was going to initially support Alistair as sole ruler, under pressure from Eamon. But after spending some time in Denerim, decided that she was going to let herself be a little selfish after fighting the Blight for a year and made the decision to support Anora last-minute before the Landsmeet. Alistair of course did not mind lol

4. How did your Warden speak to Sten? Did they fight with him often or were they more humorous in their responses?

Mavis took a liking to Sten very early on, and it didn’t take long for them to become friends. Even though they might disagree on some things, they don’t fight and I think they match each other’s senses of humor very well lol

3. How close was your Warden to Morrigan? Did your Warden respect her abilities as a witch of the wilds?

Morrigan and Mavis became fairly close rather late in the game, but didn’t get on very well in the beginning. It took some time for Mavis to get past Morrigan’s attitude but they eventually bond over their fondness of lesser known magic. Mavis was very curious about Morrigan’s abilities and asked a lot of questions. Curiosity turned to awe and Morrigan even taught Mavis a thing or two about shapeshifting! 

That scene was such a culmination of things for me. I mean, her tags had been a plot point since Chapter Two and it took 38 more chapters to get them where they belonged ;D Also, you know, little victory before big shit hitting a bigger fan. *finger guns*

He reached into one of the compartments of his gear, freeing a silver chain and its chipped and dented burden. “You’re missing part of your kit,” he said. Confusion replaced query on her face, and below them he knew the crowd was growing impatient to see their savior up close and personal. He held out his hand, and her dog tags dangled from his first finger, sun throwing sparks as it glinted off the metal he’d so painstakingly polished. Her lips parted in a silent ‘o’, small and startled and genuine. Then, instead of reaching for her tags, she bent her head, baring the naked nape of her neck to him.

Careful not to catch either his hands or the metal chain on her hair, he slid the dog tags around her neck. Straightening, she didn’t immediately tuck them into her armor, leaving them instead to shine against her chest. Her fingertips dropped to touch the metal, and though he knew she would doubtless blame the sun if anyone were foolish enough to draw attention to the moisture in her eyes, he saw the tears for what they were. Homecoming. Relief. Below them, a knot of marines called out some kind of welcoming or appreciative war-chant, and the smile Shepard sent their way was a bigger one, a brighter one.

Then, however, she turned her searching gaze back on him. “Does this mean—”

He stopped her before she could finish. “It means they’re yours, and I should’ve given them back long before this.”

The sudden smile she offered him definitely touched her eyes and was certainly warmer than the pallid Vancouver sunlight.

“Fuck,” said Jack, lounging behind them in the airlock, “you’ve got about thirty seconds to kiss her, Vakarian, or I’m gonna fucking do it. Haven’t you ever seen a war vid? She’s the returning hero.”

almost missed this one! akira shepard fact: she has terrible eyesight :( and has to wear contacts 100% of the time. she manages to keep it a secret on the sr-1, but during the lazarus project, miranda failed to notice that akira’s eyesight needed fixing. so, she continues wearing contacts on the sr-2, and of course keeps a pair of back-up glasses in case she runs out or something happens to her contacts
