Hello all, Iβm so sorry to be here when everyone is struggling but my precious baby Luce, a dachshund, was rushed to the ER/Specialty vet Wednesday night with no function of her back legs.
She was diagnosed with acute IVDD and had to undergo an expensive surgery, plus her emergency stay there, in order to be out of pain and hopefully gain some function of her legs back.
Her prognosis is very good! But financiallyβ¦ this has ruined me. Iβve had to take out loans this year for required safety work on my house, and Iβm already several thousand in debt because of that, and then thereβs this. Iβm a neurodivergent transman and Iβm at my breaking point or I wouldnβt be asking for help.
If anyone can share her Waggle campaign it would mean a lot to me π These funds are approved by and go directly to the vet to cover her surgery and post-op care.

Update: sheβs walking again! But we really need help paying the vet bills, especially since I just had to take her back because she was urinating a lot of blood over the weekend. If anyone can help this sad trans guy and his dog weβd appreciate it π
