This is Shaq at 7′1 standing next to a wax model of Robert Wadlow, who was the tallest man at 8′11! Wadlow had a condition in which his growth hormones would not stop - he continued to grow his entire life. He died in his early 20′s, imagine if he had lived a normal length of life, how tall would he have gotten? Makes even Shaq look “normal” sized.

Robert Wadlow
The tallest man in recorded history standing at nearly 9 feet tall. There are a good amount of people who are significantly taller than the ‘average’ height, although I do have my own belief that “tall” and “short” is all relative.
More specifically, each region, country, etc. does have an “average” height, although in the grand scheme of things we are all short (in comparison to all of the tall folks who have walked this Earth since the dawn of time).
