Robert Wadlow
The tallest man in recorded history standing at nearly 9 feet tall. There are a good amount of people who are significantly taller than the ‘average’ height, although I do have my own belief that “tall” and “short” is all relative.
More specifically, each region, country, etc. does have an “average” height, although in the grand scheme of things we are all short (in comparison to all of the tall folks who have walked this Earth since the dawn of time).
Robert Wadlow was the tallest man in all history, known as "The Giant of Illinois," with an incredible 2.72 meters in height. He was born in 1918 and died in 1940, at only 22 years of age.
