and that is totally cute...ace falling asleep on one of the island and he wakes up and there is?? a tiny kitten??? sleeping on him?? and it’s purring?? tiny kitten and ace looking at each other and then tiny kitten just goes?? and just ace letting kitten walking on him!!! and just god!!!marco and thatch when they see him waking around with the kitten just?? 

“ace? u know u have a kitten on u right?”

and ace is like “yeee he doesnt let me go” 

AND GOD THATCH WANTING TO GET HIM OFF OF ACE AND THE KITTEN HISSES AT HIM and ace is like “good job good job protect me from this old man”

here me out here me out because it’s slightly angsty and it’s marco and ace bc GOD I’M THINKING ABOUT MARCO AND ACE MORE THAN BEFORE

so imagine marco and ace going together on a mission and it should be simple but there are admirals and seastone bullets (which is NEW WHAT THE HECK marines) and marco gets shot with one and ace is like “what the heck what the heck marco, you can’t just die, you are a phoenix, you asshole”

and marco laughs at him, coughs and tells ace he’s proud of him and “please ace don’t blame himself” and yeah no that won’t happen bc he will save marco because he can’t go back to the others if marco dies he can’t face them 

so yeah he makes a deal (with a person who has devil fruit ability and they will save marco’s life at the cost of marco’s memory about ace or something like that) and for a moment he thinks about it bc god, he don’t want to lose marco and they can be friends again, he knows they can do it again and so ace makes the deal and he can’t regret it and marco is unconscious and ace can see thatch and the others coming for them and  he’s okay he’s totally okay 

and he is on mission and sees two siblings being happy and laughing and they are so similar to ace and luffy, they can't be more than 13 years old and he's just standing there watching those boys for a moment and thinks about that this is what ace and luffy were like after he was gone and his eyes sting and he feels like his throat is closing up
