Appearance 3: Is there something about your character's appearance that they would change if possible? If Chay could, she would get rid of her scars. Not only do they hold the memory of the worst night of her life, she also blames them for keeping her from reaching her magic. In her mind, if she could just get rid of her scars, she could use magic again. But this time it would be better, safer, more controlled

Appearance 9: What does your character smell like? I imagine she smells very woody and earthy

Appearance 19: If your character had to get a tattoo what would it be? I would say bird (specifically phoenix) wings on her back

Objects 3: What type of object is likely to catch your character's attention? Chay has always had an affinity for things that are gold and shiny. She will gladly grab broken jewelry from the ground if it was shiny enough.

Objects 16: Is your character willing to ask for things? No, at least not easily. She has always worked to push down her emotions and desires. She will accept what anyone else tells her she should want or need

Food and Drink 2: Would your character prefer baking, cooking or mixing drinks? Cooking. It allows for enough wiggle room that if she fucks up, it doesnt ruin the dish. At the same time, it is also an incredibly practical skill to have

Food and Drink 7: Is there food that has made your character sick? For the large majority of her life, the answer would have been no. Thats the benefit of being the child of small nobles. But once she was sent off to live on her own, she very quickly realized that she couldnt eat just anything she could find without risking sickness and injury

Food and Drink 10: What is a childhood meal your character cherishes? I imagine that there are a lot of traditional meals of her culture that Chay ate as a child which she thinks of fondly. I would say that her *favorite* meal was a rich stew. I would think that it includes a few root vegetables, the meat and broth made from an elk-like creature, and other savory fruits and vegetables from the surrounding forest

Weather and Nature 2: Has your character had a meaningful encounter with an animal? She had small encounters with birds and small mammals while she was a child, but the most interaction she has had recently was while living in the forest having animals attempt to steal her food

Weather and Nature 4: Is there a natural phenomenon that scares your character? Fires are one of Chay's biggest fears. Lightning also scares Chay, though that is because it is one of the most common ways fires start naturally

Weather and Nature 17: Is your character good with plants? She is relatively good as she was raised in a culture of people with plant and nature based magic. She is not amazing at it, mostly because the people she learned from were utilizing their magic and so couldnt fully teach Chay

Community and Relationships 3: How comfortable would your character be singing and dancing in front of others? Not at all. Her entire life she has worked to push down her emotions and be as moldable as possible. Something as directly a show of uniqueness and personality as that would make Chay feel incredibly exposed and guilty

Community and Relationships 9: Where is your character's comfort place? Before leaving her home, she found comfort in a small clearing about half a mile from the house. Not only was it away from the eyes of her family and servants, but it was mostly dirt, allowing for her to be able to safely practice her magic. After being kicked out, she has yet to find a new place to find that escape in.

Community and Relationships 14: Who would your character say knows them best? The person who knows her best is probably Irda, though it is mostly out of necessity over closeness. This means that there is probably no one that would be someone that Chay would call close to her

Mind, body and soul 8: What scents does your character find comforting? She probably quite enjoys the scent of pine and cedar. Basically anything that reminds her of her home when she was young

Mind, body and soul 18: How often does your character have nightmares? Chay has reoccurring nightmares almost every single night which are from the trauma of the night she burned down her home

Mind, body and soul 20: Is there a fear your character wants to learn to overcome? Chay's Big Character Arc is her overcoming the fear of feeling her emotions. Not allowing herself to feel and express herself is one of her biggest flaws, and she understands this. The reason why this fear is so difficult for her to overcome is partly because the last time she let herself feel those big emotions, everything quite literally exploded

Hobbies and activities 4: Is there an activity your character used to enjoy that they now dislike? Chay used to spend a lot of time playing outside in the mud and the dirt. As she aged, however, she was expected to be more "proper" and grew out of those activities

Hobbies and activities 9: What is a topic your character would be excited to talk about? Chay's favorite topic to speak on is strategy and logical thinking
