Customer over from Manchester in for our tune up service for there Vw T4 1.9Td. Dropped the customers off at a good local cafe for lunch, then we get this T4 straight onto the Maha rolling road for a base run. It’s pretty good and about standard figure at 65bhp and 139nm of torque. Front end into service mode so we can get to everything. Get some adjustments done and a few more runs and small tweaks and we see a rather nice 96bhp and 210nm torque. That’s 31bhp increase and 70nm. Vw T4 coach built in for a new stainless steel system. This one's a converted 2.4d with a turbo conversion from TB turbos in Lancaster and top mount intercooler. 1999 Vw T4 1.9Td in for tuning and a stainless steel side exit. Old exhaust off and new single side exit fitted up in 10mins. Then into Maha rolling road for set up and tuning. This one is under power from stock figures as usual through timing being a tiny bit out. Customer from West Yorkshire having his rugged T4 1.9td adventure camper sorted out with a new stainless steel twin exit and of course our tuning. First up is the new twin side exit to fit up after removing the old rear exit system, 10 mins in and we are done. Onto the maha rolling road for set up and tuning. This one came in slightly under stock bhp at 60bhp and 130nm. After setting this one up and a good half a dozen runs we see a perfect smoke free 100bhp and 205nm. A really nice loverly condition early (95’) Vw T4 2.4 non turbo in today for tuning. This one has had a turbo conversion undertaken, and all done really well with the customer doing a fab job of the work involved. Tuning wise of course these don’t have a ecu so it’s good old fashioned mechanical setting up and fine tuning while using the maha rolling road. Once we have a base run and we put the vehicle into service mode we can set about adjusting the fuel, the turbo actuator and tickover. After several small adjustments and getting the fueling and boost set just right we end up with 93.6bhp and 191nm torque. Up from 74bhp and 153nm.
