5. Posters and Next Steps: From Event Choreography to Movement Trajectories
I have extracted event posters from three platforms to form a database of ‘visual language of institutional practices’.
My next steps involve two actions:
1. Enhance the visualisation of choreography based on corresponding posters, showcasing distinct colour palettes and event atmospheres.
2. Download publicly available dance videos and abstract movement into line trajectories using human pose keypoints.
Ultimately, I aim to develop an interactive system:
Through dance notation, it will reflect the evolution of Rotterdam's urban culture, revealing how different city platforms organise dance activities via rules, rhythms, roles, and meanings. It will also demonstrate how game structures manifest within bodily movement.
