A bit more progress on the van this week. The new @goalzero battery arrived, which I’ll be running in tandem with my existing 220ah set-up. However, all going well these will be removed once I get the folding Goal Zero Boulder panels. Interior is also coming along slowly, but waiting until I can get some fabrication done (and the new syncro specific water tank, which I’m really excited about, but is expensive so will have to wait 😅). It’s crazy to think I’ve had the van parked up for over a year (obvs its driven to the supermarket etc just to prevent seizing up and I’ve kept up the servicing). I spent the end of 2019 investing my savings in a build I hoped would mark a new chapter of bigger trips, then the engine gave up and I left it in the UK for an epic rebuild (whilst I worked a bajillion hours to pay for it all) and two months later I was catching the last flight out as everything locked down. I’ve never been more sure that living on the road is what I want and to be able to share it with @bamberlin is perfection.
