They'd gotten back to the tower and she hadn't been expecting things to go the way they had. She was still messed up and she knew Bucky wasn't about to leave her till he knew she was fine. Kara wasn't even really sure that he was fine. If she'd seen what she did, how in the world had he taken the things he'd seen. She'd spent enough time in Wakanda with him and talked under the stars enough to know that there are dark dark memories from his time.
Bent over, her arms on her knees, she still didn't know what to tell him besides she would be fine. She felt his arm on her body as she turned to look at him. "Pretty bad day huh?" It had been an understatement but now, they were here in the tower, needing a place to stay. "Tell the others they can stay here. There's plenty of apartments below mine." She smiled at him. "Guess we'll be moving into the brownstone sooner than we thought. It's not done being remodeled but I don't mind. This place has been a mess for years and we've been living here."
She knew that Bucky wasn't about to stay in a place where they couldn't be alone, the three of them. Just as the thought of Krypto came in her mind, the white dog put his head under her hands and she almost sighed with relief. She turned with a furrowed brow, "Do you think the Void effected him. I wasn't close enough to see if he disappeared because he was sent in a separate ship from me and didn't land till three years after. " He nudged her again but had a playful look. "Go lay down and rest buddy. We'll take you out in a bit. Maybe go to the park. I could use to get away from heroing for a bit."
Kara really wasn't alright and she knew that James could tell when she was faking it, when she was masking for the sake of the people coming in and out and were all around them. She whispered to Bucky. "I'm scared, James. I'm scared of Bob. His powers effected me, hurt me and now he's in here like everything is fine. What do I do? It wasn't the same for me as it was the rest of you. I was lost in there and where you found each other, I looked I was being hurt but at the same time stuck like something in him was trying to push me to the edge like I was when my dad died. Please tell me you're sure he's fine... I'm just.." Her words stopped and she threw herself at him, arms wrapping around his neck and she was straddling him so that he could hold on to her small body. Just when she thought her mask was good enough, she burst into tears."
