WEEK 10 VVCAL 2020 by @cypresstextiles Man this has been late sorry about that, forgot to put this up on Monday. Here is week 10 of my slightly altered #vvcal2020 blanket. This week we have Istanbul and Florence for our destinations! The second photo has all six squares this week starting in order of yarn! Lol! Yes the top and bottoms are identical squares until you get to the last two, those I stole from the VVCAL2016. We start with Florence Square in #scheepjes Stone Wash in Tourmaline (pinky color top left)and Axinite (off-white color bottom left). Next we visit Istanbul with our two middle squares in Scheepjes River Wash Rhine (blueish green top middle) and then Narmada (greenish yellow bottom middle). Finally we are greeted by the lovely 2016VVCAL and they are Lincoln (green top square farthest on the right) and Lupita (reddish orange bottom farthest on the right) also in Scheepjes River Wash. WEEK 9 VVCAL2020 by @cypresstextiles This week we have the close ups of these beautiful squares from the #vvcal2020 adaptation I’ve done! The adaption is I’ve included squares from all three of her square #vvcal, this year there was a surprise! The second photo is of the Budapest Square followed by the third photo of the Cape Town square! All four are done in #scheepjes Stone Washed lil cuties from the Colour pack of Stone/River Washed! Week 8 VVCAL 2020 by Rachele Carmona Here is this weeks lovely squares for this edited version of the #vvcal2020 Beginning on the 2nd photo we have the Athens square being done in #scheepjesriverwashed yarn. The 3rd photo is the Havana square and what an interesting square it is. I love that little flower in the center. Such a tiny bud! The 4th photo is the edit for this #vvcal I’ve included the Raymond (Green colored) square from the VVCAL2016 and the Cedar Tree (Yellow color) from the VVCAL2018. Week 7 2020 VVCAL by @cypresstextiles Here is week 7 from the #vvcal2020 modified version I’m doing. My version is incorporating the 2020VVCAL, 2018VVCAL, and the 2016VVCAL. These blankets are such wonderful gifts and are absolutely gorgeous and fun to make. I’m currently using a @scheepjes Colour Packs, yes two of them, in the cutie Stone/River Washed packs to create the squares. I love using these packs and you can find them locally here in the USA at @dotsyarnden! This week brings us to Barcelona and Venice for the #vvcal which are pictured together is the second picture as well as in the third picture we have Faith from the 2016 and Palm Tree from the 2018! WEEK 6 VVCAL2020 by Rachele Carmona @cypresstextiles I’m a few days late but here we have the sixth week of my modified version of the #vvcal2020. This where I’ve combine all three #vvcal together into one! The first picture is of all the seven cuties from this week’s squares. The second picture is each square shown together with the rest. So let’s get to it. Top of the picture you have a green and then blue colored squares, those are your 2020VVCAL Amsterdam Squares with the grey and purple on the bottom of post of the second picture you have the Belarus Squares. Next the three lovely squares in the center. The second photo has three squares in the center of seven squares total let’s give you their names and which VVCAL they are from. First on the center right is Gum Tree Square from the #vvcal2018 to be followed by the orange red Mary Square from the #vvcal2016 to be followed by the brown Cypress Square also from the 2018VVCAL. I have no current granny stitch squares at this time. WEEK FIVE VVCAL 2020 by @cypresstextiles Here is the fifth week of the last #vvcal2020. This week we visit Sydney and Las Vegas! The first photo is all seven squares from the VVCAL2020 Week 5. Hope you are enjoying your week. Second photo is Sydney and Las Vegas Squares. The two squares, one on the right and one on the left directly across from each other., are your Sydney Squares!! The squares on the top and bottom directly opposite is the Las Vegas Squares. The third photo is of my choice of alternative granny squares coming from the VVCALS 2018 (that are named after trees!) and the original #vvcal VVCAL 2016 (using peoples names!). VVCAL 2020 WEEK 4 by @cypresstextiles I know I’ve missed the past two weeks, so sorry about that but I’m here again sharing some wonderful crochet work! Here is week four of #vvcal2020 We have seven wonderful squares allow me to share them with you. Remember this is a modified version because I’ve already done the original now I’m combining all three of her square #vvcal The second picture shows three squares then two squares underneath them. We’ll talk about the three first. They are from previous VVCAL’s. The 2016 VVCAL Denton square is the left square. The middle and far right are from the VVCAL 2018 Maple and Cherry Blossom! Now the bottom two squares and the third picture are from the VVCAL 2020. First is Berlin which is the two bottom squares in the second picture. Then we have Dubai in the third photo! I really love how this blanket is turning out! I’ve used #scheepjescolourpack Stone/River Washed cutie pies for this blanket! VVCAL 2020 by @cypresstextiles I cannot share the whole blanket at this time but because so many followed my journey making this blanket I thought I’d share the artistic flavor of the border! I am beyond proud of this blanket and cannot wait for the recipient to receive her! I’m so thankful that this project came along when it did and I have sense made all three VVCALS (2016, 2018 REBOOT, and two 2020). Each is similar yet different depending on the recipient. Once they all have arrived I’ll share them in their entirety with my Instagram FAM!! Hard at work doing the finishing on two and hoping I may get that fifth blanket done still before the end of the year! I’ve more things to share in the upcoming days, until then, be safe, make good choices, and hook on!
