✯ ┊     The question didn’t come as much of a surprise to the raven as he slashed through yet another enemy that was surrounding the two of them. At one point, Vanitas might have asked himself the same question. But that was back then, back before the confrontation at the Keyblade Graveyard, when he thought what he was doing was the right thing. Following his masters orders like a loyal hound.

                      Now was different. 

Things had changed for him in the few years that had passed since the confrontation. He’d seen the light as it were. Now he did things on his own terms, and part of him, though he could explain why just yet, didn’t want to see anything happen to his Lighter half.
