That concludes tonight’s acceptances! I’m so thrilled that all twelve of the apps were accepted tonight, and can’t wait to get things going with all of the new characters we have joining us!

With the acceptance of five dancer OCs tonight, as opposed to the three slots I’d originally had open, I’ve got a quick announcement. That means we’re officially full up on dancer OC slots for now, but, since two additional dancers were accepted tonight, I’ll be adding two new OC slots for staff and patrons, to even things out.

Another announcement — I’ve decided to bump the character limit up from two to three! Anyone with two characters is welcome to apply for a third, with one stipulation — one of your three characters must be from a different group. IE: if your first two characters are dancers, you’re welcome to take on a staff member or patron, but not a third dancer.

I’m absolutely exhausted, so I’m going to be calling it a night and updating bios and tags in the AM. For now, I’m wishing all of you a good night, and thanking you for sticking with me while I made it through everyone!

Hello everyone!

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone for the support and patience over the last little while. It means more than you could possibly know.

After a lot of deliberation on my end, I’m so sorry to announce that finally come to the decision to put Voulez Vous on an indefinite hiatus. I’m afraid the muse and drive I’ve had for the group has been affected beyond any immediate repair, and to only be half-present would only be unfair to the amazing members who’ve made this place so wonderful since its very first days.

Thank you all so much for your time, your commitment, your continued inspiration, your amazing characters, your beautiful words, your support, your kindness — all of it. I sincerely hope that these muses live on for all of you — whether that be here on this dash, in your own 1x1s, in countless AUs, all of it. You’ve all created such wonderful characters, and I hope you continue to love them as much as I do.

I’d like to think that this isn’t a goodbye forever, so much as a certified Tigger ta-ta for now. If and when this space is one that inspires me once more, I would love nothing more than to see Voulez Vous return with all of you as integral parts of it. In the meantime, please, stay in touch!! I’m most reachable over at @swansonwritings, and I’m always here to talk about absolutely anything.

I just want to take a quick moment to thank everyone, members and applicants and anyone else who may be lurking, for your patience and understanding and thoughtful messages this past week. A little hiatus was much needed on my part, and I’m happy to say that all is well and I can go back to giving this place the attention it deserves.
