- 2 Weeks before Jinger’s due date the midwife comes to the house to give a refresher about about labor for Jeremy because is the only one allowed in the hospital and wants more education. The midwife wears a mask, Jinger and Jeremy do not.

- In Joy’s TH she says she was the first Duggar to give birth during covid so she had to accept what it was going to be, make the most of it and it was sweet to have just Austin there.

- Jinger is fine with having an epidural. She is scared her waters will break at the grocery store. The midwife says the second baby is usually the fastest and more likely to be born on the bathroom floor. Jessa says she was more nervous the second time.

- The midwife tells Jinger and Jeremy about contraction apps, when to call her and that Jinger will labor for some time at home before going to hospital.

- Michelle and Jordyn are heading to LA 3 days before the due date to help with the baby and Felicity. Jim Bob is going to miss them but glad they get to spend time with Jinger. Jim Bob drives them to the airport and I’m surprised to see Michelle and Jordyn wearing masks.

- Jinger goes to collect Jordyn and Michelle from the airport Jordyn has her violin and says she kind of had to bring it. Jeremy and Michelle side hug.

- Jinger finds it comforting to have Michelle with her. This is the second birth where Michelle is not allowed in the room (the first was Joy). Jeremy’s parents are arriving tomorrow.

- 2 days before the due date Jinger has had a doctor appointment and for the past couple of weeks she has been 1/ 1 1/2 cm dilated. She is 70% effaced,

- Charles and Diana (Jeremy’s parents) arrive and Felicity is shy. Diana thinks this is how he will be with the new baby. With the last of the support team there; Jinger feels ready for labor. She could go into labor tonight but it would be nice to have time with them before she arrives.

- Jinger goes into labor at 3pm on 22nd November and labors at home for several hours. At 7pm she heads to hospital and contractions are 3 minutes 15 seconds apart according to Michelle. Michelle films Jinger and Jeremy in the reception area through the window. Jinger is admitted at 7:30pm.

- By 8:30pm Jinger has had an epidural. The useless bandana mask has been replaced by a medical one. Jeremy has a burger. Photos of them at the hospital. Jinger is ready and the doctor is about to break her water.

- 2 hours after getting the epidural Jinger’s waters are broken. She begins to push at 11pm and 26 minutes later Evangeline is born. Understandably there is no footage of labor but the photos shared on Instagram are shown on screen, along with some new ones.

- Back at the house, Michelle, Charles and Diana are excited to find out the name of the baby. They facetime at 12am and Jeremy announces the name and they explain the reasoning; Evangeline means bearer of good news and Jo is after Jeremy’s middle name. He pronounces it Eee-van-guh-line. Michelle says they should be able to come home 9pm that day.

- 10 hour old Evangeline is given her first bath by a nurse. Michelle says it was a fast labor; 6 hours. 

- Jeremy holds Evangeline next to the hospital window and tells her he loves her.

- Michelle tells Jordyn and Felicity they’re decorating the house for the baby. My gosh that baby voice is annoying! Felicity is excited to help decorate.

- Jinger and Jeremy arrive home with Jinger still in her pajamas (you go girl!!). Jinger is thankful to the lord that labor was drama free. 

- Felicity meets the baby and says her name is Baby Joey. It’s all very sweet. Jinger tells her she’s called Evy (yep, the same as Evy Mae, just Evy Jo). Evy and Felicity are dressed in the same outfit and Felicity points out she has a bow. Felicity kisses Evy.

- Diana has bought shoes for Evy. 

Evangeline Jo Vuolo arrived “quickly and safely” on Sunday, November 22, 2020, per TODAY Parents.

Since my “Welcome to The World” Post, it’s been brought to my attention that TLC and People reported Evangeline’s TOB and Birth Length—facts which did not appear in TODAY Parents’ brief exclusive.

Apparently, Evangeline was born at 11:26 PM.  Additionally, she measured 20 Inches Long, at birth.  Big Sister Felicity was 19.5 Inches Long—thus, it’s now typical for Newborn Vuolos to be 19.75 Inches (+0.25 Inch) Long, at birth.  As for the Duggar Family Data...  Prior to Angie’s birth, your typical GrandDuggar measured 20.79 Inches Long.  Factoring her in, it shifted to 20.75 Inches Long (–0.04 Inch).

Finally, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald confirmed how “Evangeline” is pronounced...
