Vulkan-Express (Brohltal Eisenbahn ) (English version below) Schwere Mallet 11sm der Brohltal Eisenbahn auf der Schmalspurstrecke des Vulkan Express. Diese Aufnahmen sind noch aus Zeiten vor der Corona Pandemie. Auf der zum Teil recht steilen Strecke wird bei Dampfbetrieb im oberen Streckenabschnitt die Mallet Lokomotive durch zwei O & K Diesellokomotiven vertreten. Diese haben sehr viel stärkere Bremsen, was insbesondere für die Talfahrt von großer Wichtigkeit ist. “Vulkan-Express” Volcano Express (Brohltal Railway ) (Version in Deutsch siehe oben) Heavy Mallet 11sm of the Brohltal Railway on the narrow gauge line of the Vulkan Express. These pictures are from times before the Corona Pandemic. The Mallet locomotive is substituted by two O & K diesel locomotives in the upper section of the route. These have much stronger brakes, which is especially important for the downhill run.
