Fun Fact: I am a huge fan of the Persona Franchise, and will go on for hours about mind palaces for characters if you let me.

Now for those who aren't into the Persona franchise, Persona is a series of games influenced by the Jungian psychology. The protagonist is able to enter an alternate world alongside a monster based on a mythological, legendary, literary, or historical figure. The objects is to help a person whose alternate self got distorted.

Hagakure Tooru's Mind Palace

Now, the idea for Hagakure Tooru's Mind Palace is a dollhouse in the shape of a castle, and it is decorated the stereotypical girly. There are gems everywhere, pastels pink and blue, bows and flowers. Just the most sterotypical thing to ever exist.

Of course, just like a real doll house, everything is plastic. It is fake. The enemies would be different type of dolls, so like outside enemies would be based on corn husk and straw dolls.

There would be different places such as the outside village, the royal maze, the royal zoo, and parts of the royal castle.

The main objective is to collect shards of a prism to open the door to the main castle chamber where Hagakure's distorted self locked herself in. The pieces of the prism would be different colors corresponding to the themes of the sections.

The First Entry

Upon first entering the mind palace, the protagonist is able to walk straight through the gates and up to the castle doors. Distorted Hagakure welcomes you in, to which you discover a fractured prism. Distorted Hagakure is happy to see you at first only to get angry when you make it clear you are there to help her away from the path of villainy. She chases you out of her throne room.

You are in the broken prism room, where you come to the conclusion you must find the pieces of the missing prism. Hagakure's guards then come and throw you out.

The only prism shard still there is red as it represents war and anger. For my OjiHaga fans, you may also interpret this as Hagakure still has a lot of love for Ojiro despite what she has done.

The First Section: Outside Village

The outside village has its prism piece serves as the clapper of a bell in a bell tower tower, where you must go. The entry to the bell tower is locked, so you have to find the keys to the locks which you'll find in cornhusk doll like enemies that make cruel remarks about Hagakure. This should be the shortest section.

This prism piece would be violet as its represents sensitivity. The negative trait here is fragility as it shows young Hagakure's shy nature that contrasts her classmates flashy nature and flashy quirks. The positive trade is consideration, as it shows the good traits of a young Hagakure other people refused to see because of her quirk.

The Second Section: Royal Maze

The next section is the maze, which is the first step onto the castle grounds. There you must navigate the maze solving a lot of light based puzzles while fighting enemies. The enemies are based on apple and bark dolls. Once you get to the center, you discover the prized flower that has the prism piece in its center. You don't have to fight a boss for this, because the puzzles would be heinous enough.

The prism piece here is green as it represents nature. The negative trait here is envy as Hagakure is bitter towards those with flashier quirks and how they've treated her. The positive traits here are growth and hope on what becoming a hero means.

The Third Section: Royal Zoo

After you navigate the maze, you arrive at the Royal Zoo where you see many exhibits with animals suspiciously based off of members of Class 1-A. The farther into the zoo you go, the more minor the character an animal is based on. Eventually, you find the main attraction which contains Lion Ojiro. Lion Ojiro opens his mouth to reveal the missing prism shard is one of his canines. A boss battle later, and you obtain the missing piece.

The prism piece here is yellow, because it is generally considered the color of friendship. The negative trait here is deception as Hagakure tricked all of her friends and classmates. The positive trait here is warmth as it is revealed Hagakure generally cares for her classmates.

The Fourth Section: Castle Dungeon

You jump down a well, and find a trapdoor at the bottom where you enter the castle dungeons. The prism piece is located in the largest jail cell, which the protagonist navigates to. There, the prism piece is in a treasure hoard, and as you go to grab it you find yourself fighting another boss in the form a chameleon dragon to obtain it.

The prism piece here is orange as it represents joy and creativity which Hagakure treasures as a key to be liked. The negative trait here is exhaustion as Hagakure is tired of putting on an act and tired of her spy work. The positive trait here is energy as Hagakure is still a beacon of social energy.

The Fifth Section: Barracks

You escape the jail cell through a hole the dragon made, where you find yourself in the barracks and servent quarters. The prism shard is the blade of the top boss, so you must find the boss and fight them for the prism shard. One note about this stage is that it would contain a lot of gymnastics (this is for you Floof).

The prism shard here is indigo as it represents a lot to do with the law and honor. The negative trait here is the fanaticism as Hagakure romanticizes the outlaw life alongside the League. The positive trait here is justice, as Hagakure still believes in doing the right thing despite her warped perceptions.

The Sixth Section: The Ball

This would be the time sensitive quest.

You exit the barracks, only to find that the reason security has been so tight is because of a ball happening in the main assembly chamber. You find a good vantage point where you find the final prism shard is a part of the chandelier. The goal is to obtain the last prism shard, which you do but it causes the chandelier to fall.

The Final Boss

In the panic, you rush to put the prism together, but before you can Distorted Hagakure finds you bringing you into a huge boss fight. She turned into a doll made purely out of gems and glass. Your teammates would sneak shards into the prism which would weakened the boss. Once Hagakure is weaken enough you can finish her off and finish the prism. Once you do that, the prism turns a pure clear color before shooting out a rainbow that fixes the land.

To paraphrase @afronerdism if I hyperinspected the antiblackness in all nonblack media, I would have nothing left to enjoy 🤷🏾‍♀️

they are tatsu and tae! (that's their temporary names) and they are like a package deal (in a platonic sense)

it's the embodiment of "lesbian with her himbo bestie" but instead it's "lesbian with her himbo brother"

here are some things to know:

-they're 18-19 (tatsu is older)

-i hate to say it but tatsu is one of those "AYO WHERE MY HUG AT" dudes. mf lives off of MONSTER ENERGY DRINKS👺👺👺👺™

-people often confuse them for twins

-tatsu would be the type to look like a hot mess (half affectionate) one minute and then when you say there's an event? mf looks fresh asf

-i feel like kaibara gets his violent tendencies from tae, whom when compared in terms of violence, it makes kai look like a baby compared to tae.

-tae is studying to be a marine biologist, and loves sea animals! (floof said it best: there are many benefits to being a marine biologist)

-tae is really flexible, and does gymnastics and ballet and all the sorts (idk)

-tae owns a ferret called mr. beanstalk. mr. beanstalk originally was gonna have a different name but she forgot to give him it and mr. beanstalk grew on him.

-they sometimes call him bean or mr. bean (the last one was unintentional). bean has a love hate relationship with tatsu while he loves kai and tae.

-since it's said that bean loves kaibara, the latter has decent amount of experience with ferrets.

-so when monoma's ferret goes batshit (i hc monoma has one), he calms it down in his sen kaibara way™ and it actually worked

i also am making more cousins for him. one of them is gonna be based off of nanako from persona!
