Unlike Elite Warriors and Warriors, Workers are cats who are stuck doing chores within the clan and doing tasks for The Elite (Elite Warriors, Leader, Deputy, Healers) until they prove their loyalty and worth to the clan and to the leader Iciclestar.
Any cat who is against the new rule or does not follow through is expected to undergo trial and punishment regardless of ranking.
You will see what that’s like pretty soon!
Heartflicker and Iciclestar’s relationship has been pretty messy lately. On one hand, they acknowledge that they are sisters and hold some sentimental value to that. On the other hand, they are treating each other like authoritarians/work partners than family, and they both resent each other for the death of Snakevalley
On Iciclestar’s part, she’s grown to be very distrustful and weak - she’s experienced death and nearly died twice on account of the cats she loved and saw as family. Put it simply, she wanted to be lenient, but forced to learn about reality, she can’t be a good leader if she keeps getting hurt
When she needed help she sought out her mother, with her experience as a previous deputy, and gave her the advice she needed to hear
Leading a clan with a strong mind and ferocity, maintaining tradition, and unwavering devotion to Starclan. Bees are stinging insects, after all

I couldn’t stop thinking about it
just caught up and i adore how Shaped the cats have been recently, but ESPECIALLY the way that Stonespider feels less and less like a Cat compared to the others. yes, shes a cat, but you've really pushed her silhouette nicely during the breakdown <3 also the way her cheek fluff is shaped reminds me of spider mandibles! the way you bring the fracturing mental state of the cast into the comic itself with things like the Stonepaw monologue in three colors and now the glitchy look of Iciclestar. it really feels like reality IS falling apart as much as the leads believe it is! also tiny detail i like is in the last panel both stone and icicle have predominantly black eyes :] stone with dilated pupils ready to commit murder and icicle with 404 guiding/possessing/???ing her. really really good series <3 i look forward to seeing what happens next :3
I like this image that Stonespider, while taking initiative and having power over herself finally, is becoming ‘dehumanized’ all the more. She is not a cat, she is like a prowling nightmare within Vespidclan. She can’t see that her life could still be good through the bad—she actually HAS support. But her focus is set on spilling blood for ‘what is good’, so much so that her projected reality is no longer objective. She can’t picture her aunt anymore, it’s just 404.
Though Stonespider is no longer controlled by others, she has also inevitably lost control of herself. She cannot love anymore, especially when her appetite for blood takes up too much of her mind to love anything.
Might've contracted the moth... I'm just sitting here like "Fuck." and looking at Vespidclan stuff... That memory... ough. Will there be more to unlock???
