Both of you were seated in the back of Vâs SUV, holding a steaming thermos full of your favorite tea as you sat with the back door wide open. V had his camera in his lap while you had a journal, pen resting against your thigh as you leaned back against the many pillows and blankets cushioning the carpeted back space.
The air was chilly as the sun started to fade behind the hills and the stars started to slowly shine through the dark blue sky, the wind slowing down but still dancing itâs way through your hair. You peaked over at V as he brought up his camera to take pictures of the setting sun, the fading light casting a hauntingly beautiful glow across his pale face.
You thought to yourself; youâd never seen anything more beautiful in your entire life.
You hadnât planned to stay out for this long really; it just sort of happened. V wanted to take some pictures of this gorgeous landscape a little ways out of town before the pure white snow had covered it all. You of course wanted to go with him, since it was rare that you got to see V doing what he loved most.
It wasnât a choice you regretted making either; he looked so beautiful with the way he slightly pushed his minty hair out of his face to get a better look through the lens, lips slightly parted as he focused on getting the perfect shot. You had brought your journal with you to sort out your thoughts, but now that you were watching V you just couldnât stop staring.
You felt a strong sense of pride as he took multiple photos, looking completely relaxed before slowly putting down the camera just as the sun had permanently set behind the hills, leaving you in the glow of the moon and stars in the sky. It certainly wasnât easy getting to this point with V, and you both still had a long way to go.
But you were still just so proud of him after everything that he had been through with Rika and the RFA. He deserved to be relaxed and have a fresh start, and just as the snow started to gently fall on the ground you felt that it was like life was trying to show you two that new beginnings were possible.
He was so much stronger now, and he openly shared what he was feeling with not just the other members, but you as well. You snuggled closer to V, sharing each otherâs warmth as he looked down in surprise before wrapping an arm around you.
âIs everything alright, darling? It is starting to get cold. Perhaps we should head home?â You nodded, sitting up to give him a quick peck on the lips as he blushed.
âIâm just fine, V. I love you so much, and Iâm so proud of you. Letâs make this a happy winter?â You asked, and he gave off a large grin as he closed his eyes and leaned his forehead against yours. The camera was gently placed to the side as he brought you into his arms, squeezing gently as he spoke.
âThere is nothing else Iâd rather do, my love. Iâm so incredibly lucky, and Iâm so blessed that fate decided to put us on each otherâs paths. I look forward to spending forever with you.â
With that he placed a longer, sweeter kiss on your warm lips, the moonlight encasing you both as if to make sure this moment lasted forever.
