For how much I like sharing and receiving comments on my art, I am REALLY bad at posting it on tumblr! But I’m doing an art prompt called Leaf Scouts by 09Leaf on IG, featuring my noodle boy Roy, and if anything will compell me to make the time to post, it is this adorable little nerd.
First prompt was basically just Introduce Your Character! See if you can guess which facts about him were made up on the spot. XD Roy is a main character from my original comic VOP! I lost steam on, and I’ve been practicing drawing him again lately to restore muscle memory and solidify a cute and easy style. Also he is blue now, which I wasn’t QUITE sure about because of how tropical these colors make him look, but itMs growing in me! :D
I shall share the other week prompts before too long, stay tuned!
Inktober Day ??? - Marvin and Dex
I lost track of the whole Inktober thing, so I’m not sure if I completed it or not. This will be one of the last two submissions I make for it. But boy am I glad I did it! It’s great to have had an excuse to draw things, plus it resulted in my making that dumb/extremely fun MLP Ask Blog I keep shoving down ya’lls faces.
This is Marvin and his Aux, Dex, from my comic VOP!. Being all ACTIONY. I drew the lineart for these ages ago, and finally got around to inking them because of this. Dex is normally a bit smaller, but he has extendy powers. And Marvin is doing... what Marvin does. It hasn’t been defined yet in the comics, so NO SPOILERS
Inktober Day 17 - RUN AUGH RUUUUN
I am so behind. XD; Will probably count that MLP comic I did as two days, that’ll have me only one day behind. Anyhoo, wanted to do some more original character stuff. I have no idea what Gwen and Roy are running from or why Gwen isn’t just pausing time to get away from it (because that’s her power), but this image was too hilarious to not try to illustrate. I regret nothing. :D
Inktober Day 8 & 9 - Miscellaneous Aux
I was behind again, so here’s some more inkings of pre-existing drawings! I doodled a few of the Aux (short for Auxiliaries) from my comic, VOP!; these little guys are each assigned to one of the humans who get zapped to the place where they work, to help them out and stuff. The tiny derpy-looking flame pony is Kevin; the turtle with glasses is Gordi; the slug is Floob; the squirrel thing is Sparksi; and you’ve already met Roy. Sizes aren’t exactly to scale, Sparksi and Roy would be about the same size in the head and chest, but Kevin probably would be that small compared to Roy. He’s very tiny. Anyhoo, tl;dr: have some cute critters! (I like how this one of Roy came out much better than Day 1′s!)

Been a while since I posted some of my art, so here, having this WIP of my next comic strip! (#15, I believe.) I’m pretty happy with how it’s coming out, scenery-wise. ^^ But maaaaan I need to pick up my pace, it’s been like two months since the last one?!
