Today is Pucca's Birthday! ❤️🥳

(July 7th is also Chocolate Day, too! 🍫)

Ever since childhood, I couldn't thank this South Korean character enough for inspiring my art style whenever I draw or design my characters as well as making me smile when I see her happy face!

When I was a toddler, the first time I ever discover Pucca along with her adorable ninja boyfriend, Garu was in China towns.

Despite not being old enough to get into big kids media at that time when Pucca was popular in Canada where I live, these two characters never failed to make my days every time I see their existents in schools, stores, the internet, restaurants, and so much more.

They're are the ones who got me interested in Korean media and arts in the first place.

Unfortunately, seeing them turned into something for NFTs and crypto (since 2025) right where I was going to get into the franchise during my adult years makes me so upset inside.

I pray so hard that one day, Pucca will come back from the dark and for sure become the Hello Kitty of South Korea like I always thought she'll be.

I was watching that old Pucca show (I was a huge fan when I was 10 lol) and from the episode "stuck on goo" I concluded 2 things:

1- Garu and Tobe were super gay for each other.
