Animorphs, volume 41: I have to admit that I was worried when I saw Jake morphing into another human on the cover, but now it seems that the human is just Jake but in the ~hypothetical future~~*~ which looks... really fucked up. I don’t really know what’s going on, but it seems like This is Earth if the Yeerks Win. And it’s totally automated and totalitarian, which I guess isn’t surprising. My immediate thought, though, is that it’s really a shame that the Yeerks acquire these great hosts and then just force them into a structure to further their empire. They don’t even let them enjoy doing what their hosts are built for. What’s even the point?
