I'm sure I'm not the only one, but in Breaking Dawn I was so disappointed (I mean besides everything else that happened) when someone, I think Carlisle (might be wrong tho) was like "volturi are coming And They're Even Bringing Their Wives 😱" making it seem like a big deal that they're coming, and getting 12 y/o me to think that they had some kind of cool /dangerous /unique gifts and generally getting me hyped af for some badass vampire queens, and then the fight came and they've just sort of stood there, not doing anything (well anything memorable at least)
