Right so idek if the show was that bad, but there was actual textbook queerbaiting in the advertising for season 8 (the final season). The fandom was EXTREMELY angry about it, and it was a mess after that. The assassination attempts were poisoned coffee and other food items given to the creators at cons. It was incredibly obvious and badly done however, so no one actually got hurt. This happened multiple times and may or may not have started before the mess that was season 8
