"UHHH—" MARI NEARLY TRAILS OFF THOUGHTLESSLY. She knew her mother tongue—the language of her tribe—and the more common language around here, but this one wasn't among them. She's thankful then, when the fellow teen corrects himself before it would have gotten awkward.
(Mari would have collected herself and did her best to work around the language barrier regardless, but the realization was alarming nonetheless.)
"—Okay, great. D'ah, I mean, not great that you can't move, I mean great that we can understand each other," Mari quickly saves face, and mutters something under her breath lightly as she manages to find a potion within her medical pack. She adjusts her arm so that she can help the other sit up a bit, and pops the cork of the bottle open with her other thumb as she does. "Here, drink."
Hopefully, the potion should do enough to make him more comfortable. It might not completely heal a wound, but it would ease the pain and keep him stable. The stuff would have a warming effect over most of the body, yet, provide a cooling sensation to his wounds.
"S'not like a, cure-all instant repair thing, but it should at least make it easier for you to move." Mari shrugged as she offers the potion to him. "I hope its not too bitter. I've been told I don't add enough honey to mine sometimes."
