Starter | Muse: King Ghidorah
The memories were all so faint, and they could not realize what exactly had happened. One moment they were within wing-length of victory against their greatest foe, having even felled their life-long partner, but within the span of such a short time all had been lost. Murky wakefulness, more pain, and again that bitterly cold dark enshrouded their mind.
For a time it did seem like for forever they would be trapped in this darkness, and all hopes of returning were nearly lost. Yet, the spark of something new stirred them from this endless slumber, and that life once more burned through. Though, there was a difference about all this that King Ghidorah could not have noticed to the fullest extent. They were changed, somehow... Not yet the same as before, but also that they were? It was confusing to them. The smell of metals and fire came through their senses, along with more darkness and bone-rattling cold.
It wasn't until more of those sparks were felt that they were able to finally open one pair of eyes, and blearily gazed around. This still felt so wrong. The King could not really see much, or move, and more importantly to really feel the connection of it's other selves. That was dim, but straining to be there. It was as though they were blocked from his mind, in a way, and Ichi tried to call out to them both in a weakened sound. Even that was as quiet as the rest of him, hardly able to produce much noise.
What was wrong??... How desperately he wanted to know, and could not conceive the damage that had been done to itself, and what was keeping him from fully regenerating; humanity always interfering and destroying the nature of all things.
