Ego renegade boy is 'canon' to story of evil. Kind of...
lemme explain.
We know Ego Renegade Boy is about Len going from a girl into a man and being ridiculed for it. Now we don't know for sure whether or not this extended to when he was first made as a vocaloid (Which would make this the first song canonically sung by Len post-reincarnation.) But what I do believe 100% is that Len, back in medieval-whenever (when story of evil takes place) was also FTM Trans in some way.
This comes from servant of evil specifically, where Len swaps outfits with Rin. Usually, when someone is executed, they're padded down for anything out of conduct, right? So...how would nobody figure out that the princess didn't have the correct anatomy? If she did have the correct anatomy. Len was a girl, who simply went by male pronouns for reasons. (Likely to hide his identity as the lost heir or maybe just because he wanted to be male, idk.)
However, when Rin died, and the two were reincarnated as singers, Len was also a girl. And he didn't particularly enjoy that fact. So in comes Ego Renegade Boy.
