It's interesting seeing so many Vmin analyses being done now compared to before. Many army might have gotten the impression that analysis of Vmin hasn't been a thing because there isn't much to see except the obvious... (Ha!) Honestly, Vminies are only scratching the surface (trust me). But I am glad we are mostly keeping it to our small Vminie crowd and stay honest and open with our biases and flaws.
But yeah, Vmin are worth looking closer at for sure. Not to mention the confirmed things should already be enough to look at Vmin a little closer. (Being soulmates, sleeping together privately, holding hands for no reason, songs about each other, even jealousy...)
Almost every day I see other shippers trying hard to prove their ship do various things and use them as 'proof', using things Vmin already has confirmed, to prove their ship is real. What does that make Vmin then? Like what does it say even if you can prove a moment is for example jealousy when Vmin has it too? In their own words? Too many people seem more interested in there being a conspiracy and being right than considering the full context and seeing what other pairs in the group does.
As humans we are wired to "believe what we want to believe" because it's basically an addictive good feeling. There is a book called "Denying to the Grave: Why We Ignore the Facts That Will Save Us" and I think the title says a lot on it's own. In the book they show research that suggests that processing information that supports one’s beliefs leads to a dopamine rush, which creates feelings of pleasure. (Here is an interesting article, even though it's about politics and not fandoms the reactions are pretty much the same). Basically we need to be careful with how strong our beliefs are and affect us
I am currently working hard on my big analysis. For example I have 12 pages about Jimin and Taehyung acting careful with how they come across or talk about each other. Another 7 pages on how the other members react to them. 5 pages on friendzoning. And then there is a whole other section on just vlives as well. Not to mention over 130 pages in total (so far) with everything I find worth noting when looking at Vmin. This is all with no pictures at all. It keeps growing because we get more material from BTS and when you look for moments to analyze you will find them. If it's just your biased interpretions or something actually there is a different question.
Vmin seem odd to me... That's just the way I see it. I could have wasted years to write elaborate fanfiction, but at least I know I can be wrong. Other ships might have their moments too, but that's also why those shippers probably should at least consider Vmin just like I take the time to consider them.
And best part, we also already know 95z is love. No analysis needed for that one. 😘💜
