15. Vmin in Permission to Dance

I know it’s an MV and I know it’s all in my head, but I just can’t stop thinking about the Brokeback mountain couple. Vmin as gay cowboy dad’s is something I will treasure for a long time. (I also loved the behind the scene moments).

14. “My love”

It’s not really anything new, and maybe I am still on a high from this moment since it just happend like two days ago. But Jimin tweeting and using MY and LOVE about Taehyung was just so lovely. They really are each other’s person. I am also weak for when Jimin uses TaeTae so seeing it again was wonderful. 

13. Jimin’s cold hand Run ep. 135

I don’t know why, but Tae feeling Jimin’s cold hand just did something to me... I know this is a tiny moment, but I just personally found it so sweet. And of course also the way Tae kept being suspicious of Jimin during the episode and couldn’t let go of Jimin’s suspiciously cold hands.

12. Vmin in Run 127

Ok, so I know there was a loooot of Vmin from Run episodes this year, and honestly ranking them was incredibly difficult. But Vmin being total soulmates in ep 127 had to be on this list.

11. The Coway ads

Pairing Vmin together in commercials is just a winning concept. And them looking like domestic husbands in the Coway ad was a real blessing.

10. Taehyung’s using “Blue mold/Penicillin-shi” for Jimin’s contact name

It’s not a big moment, but it’s one of those things I don’t think I’ll ever let go of. Just the fact that Taehyung has a unique name for Jimin compared to all members is cute on it’s own. But then he uses Blue mold, which is from Jimin’s song and which has been explained to mean “my savior”. And that he also designed matching phone cases for him and Jimin years ago where Jimin’s said blue mold. Let me cry about this forever, it’s too cute for words.

9. Vmin in Run in the Joseon Dynasty (Ep. 145-147)

I could once again pick out a few moment from these episodes alone (like Jimin being suspicious of Tae, or Tae getting hurt when they don’t believe him and Jimin getting him a hug), but I just have to pick their roleplay of Tae first giving the flowers to Jimin and then Jimin helping Tae to “shave”. It was just very Vmin, very funny and also very cute.

8. Vmin in Run ep. 130

The tennis episode gave us a lift and spin hug, a bridal carry and mouth to mouth roleplay. How could I not include it?

7. The hand kiss

Honestly, this is one of those few times we got something new from Vmin. And it’s so cute, and it just happened so easily. The way Tae once again interrupted a high five between Jimin and Hobi and the way Jimin just took his hand and kissed it like he was endeared and it was the most normal thing it the world.

6. Vmin in Run 140-141/Crossover with Na PD's The Game Caterers

They were just having so much fun here! They were clingy, they defended each other’s character and over all I just got to see a lot of Vmin being happy together. It’s once again difficult to just pick one moment, but them jumping around and then Jimin trying to stop Tae from moving just made my heart soar. (Just look at their smiles!)

5. BAK BAK in Run 150

Ok, so... I know it’s not anything suspicious about Tae accidentally saying “Jimin doggystyle”, but it was still hilarious. And the whole episode was just full of cute Vmin. I think BAK BAK will be one of those Vmin moments that stay for a long time and might even become something of a meme or inside joke. Also, the way Tae noticed Jimin being bummed out for being last and lifting him from the floor.  😭

4. Taehyung making food for sleeping Jimin in ITS

ITS gave us a few really nice Vmin moments (like the casual hair pull for one), but my personal favorite was a moment that was just so domestic and sweet it deserves to be on this list. Taehyung who begged others to make food for him because he is bad at it, going out of his way to bring Jimin breakfast directly to his room. Honestly, Vmin are such husbands sometimes.

3. Vmin in LA

I know this is probably cheating, but how else do you expect me to be able to choose? Vmin did so much in LA I just can’t pick out a few moments without this list filling up with just moments from one week. But a few of the highlights include:

The Vmin hug during My Universe in PTD LA concert

Of course there are plenty of moments to choose from the concert (like their struggle to hold hands during Fake Love as one great example), but I think most of us agree this cute hug as they jump towards each other as they sing “you, you are my universe” will have a special place in our hearts for a long time.

Taehyung’s comment on Jimin’s thighs. Also the way Tae just needs to praise Jimin, and the thumbs up... This moment killed me.

Vmin during the AMAs (so many moments, what a day it was). SO DAMN SWEET! Jimin leaning on Tae’s shoulder.

Vmin behind the scenes while filming with James Corden. The way they couldn’t stop touching. Aaah, I just wish I had these moments in better quality.

Thank you LA Vmin for providing us with so many moments we didn’t know what to do with them. (Also does anyone know who made this collage? Because I’ve seen it everywhere on twitter but not with credits.)

2. The Vmin vlive

I know it happened in LA, but I just had to give it a spot of it’s own. I mean, we got a VMIN VLIVE!!! For the first time since 2016! (Unless you count the Yeontan Vlive I guess, which I really should, but anyways...) This was a big deal and it just felt like it came out of nowhere! They were so sweet and awkward and I could literally watch hours of them like this. 💜😭😭

I in particular really loved the reaction from Jimin when Tae hits his head on the lamp, and how the petname “Teddy bear” just slipped out. 💜

So, if the Vlive was number 2, then I think you all know what is coming for number 1. This year really started of with a bang, and one of the best and most iconic Vmin moments ever.

1. Vmin during Let’s BTS

This whole show was just filled with Vmin moment after moment. I just can’t get over it and the fact that I wrote a very long analysis post on the whole show says quite a lot (Let’s BTS - Vmin analysis). Obviously if I had to pick just one part it would be “Jimin-ah, I like you the most“. Like, how did we move on from this? So sweet, Taehyung choosing Jimin out as special (once again) amongst the members and Jimin’s reaction and how shy he got. Honestly, this is one of those shows that every Vminie needs to watch!

2021 was such an amazing year for us Vminies, and I hope 2022 will bring a lot more. I also wish joy and a wonderful year to all of my readers. I purple you. Happy New Year!
