Sitting on his lap, you could do nothing but lean back into his chest. You were just so full, filled to the brim with Victor. You had just come home crying after a night out with your friends. It hadn’t gone as planned, and you couldn’t help but show your emotions. As soon as Victor saw you, he was pulling you into his lap, pushing your clothes out of his way just to push into you.

You couldn’t fight against him. As soon as he had his hands on you, you were melting into him. Your hips could only press into his, needing him completely. His lips brushed against your ear, his breath warm as he groaned against you. His fingers splayed over your waist, helping you fuck yourself on his cock. Still, tears fell down your cheeks, something Victor just couldn’t have. These tears weren’t because of him. You couldn’t get out of your head; you were still thinking about those friends of yours.

His nails scratched over your stomach, pushing you back into him. “Let me keep you here, let me take care of you,” he continued, watching as you melted into him. That’s it, you just had to listen to him.

Victor’s hand traced down your front, fingers finding your clit, rolling it with such precision. Your hips jolted at his touch, whimpering in need for him. “Gonna take care of you, make you feel so good. Victor’s teeth never left your skin, only digging in deeper. You could only whimper, body thrumming, neck burning. “V-Victor,” you forced out, trying to reach for him. “It h-hurts.”

Your protest seemed to fall on deaf ears. Victor planned on keeping you here forever. You didn’t need anyone else. You would only ever have him. He just had to make sure you and the whole world knew that.

For example, Luke, your older brother, had a wide variety of nicknames. Growing up, he was always “Lukey” or “Lu”. When he started playing for the Devils, he was dubbed “Rusty” after Brad Pitt’s character in Oceans 11. But somewhere along the line, he was given the name “Moose”. And occasionally that was the name you chose to call him (though more times than not, you called him “Lukey”).

But the nickname “Moose” was apparently more common than you thought.

When you first met Victor Mancini, it was at a NHL Rookies party, that Luke had dragged you too. It was like a scene straight from a movie, he spotted you from across the room, and it was as if everyone else had disappeared.

Fast forward a year later, and you had invited Victor to the lake house for the summer. Your parents were excited to meet the boy who had stolen their little girls heart. Quinn was excited to finally use the “protective older brother” routine he’s been perfecting for years. Jack was happy that he didn’t have to hear your sappy, lovesick voice as you talked to Victor over the phone like you did when he was on a roadie. And Luke. . . Well, he was being Luke.

“Are the cookies done yet?” Luke asked, “I’m starving.”

“You always are,” You rolled your eyes.

“You sure are taking your time,” Victor joked. You shot him a look, flipping him off.

“Give her time,” Luke snapped. He hadn’t been as warm and bubbly towards Victor as everyone else had.

“It’s fine,” You said, trying to stop another fire before it spread. Victor would never admit it, but you knew he felt slightly uncomfortable around Luke.

You set the mixing spoon down, and turned to the pantry. You frowned looking up on the top shelf, where the vanilla sat.

“Moose,” You called out.

“what?” both victor and luke respond.

“i uh… i mean, Vic,” You stutter out, looking between your older brother and your boyfriend. Victor’s face was flushed as he stepped towards you, gently placing his hand on your hip, as he reached for the vanilla sitting on the too high shelf. Luke, on the other hand was staring daggers into the side of your head.

“Since when is he ‘moose’? I am Moose,” Luke said, adding emphasis to his words.

“It’s his nickname from Omaha,” You shrugged, taking the vanilla and walking back to the cookie dough, “And we call you Rusty now.”

“No we don’t.”

“Yes we do.”

“We do, not you do.”

You furrowed your eyebrows, looking up at Luke, “I’m not allowed to call you by your nickname.”

“Yeah. . . Moose.”

“Oh for the love of God,” You rolled your eyes, “Fine. Vic is Vic from now on and you’re Moose. Happy?”

“Very,” Luke nodded, standing up from his chair and walking towards the stairs.

Victor was quiet for a moment before stepping towards you, “Are you really going to call me ‘Vic’ now? Cause I really like it when you call me ‘Moose’”.

You giggled, turning around and draping your arms around Victor’s neck, “No, I’m not going to start calling you ‘Vic’. Give Luke a couple of hours and he’ll get over it. Besides it’s not even really his nickname. It was a name some coach called him cause he looked like a baby moose trying to stay up on his skates.”

“He does fall a lot,” Victor agreed, “Must be a Hughes trait.”

You roll your eyes, turning back towards the counter, “You fall one time walking out of a bar!”

Victor laughed, wrapping his arms around your waist, “As long as you promise me you won’t love any one else with a woodland creature nickname.”

Drew laughed. "No way! They did that willingly?"

"Yes," Victor smirked. "My moves are already working."

Quinn quipped. "Better use those moves during practice today."

"And rest assured I will," He retorted, running his fingers through his hair.

"Room for one more?" You asked

Victor immediately turned around, to say he was shocked would be an understatement. His mouth was agape, almost to a state of drooling.

Quinn chuckled. "See? You gotta use your best moves today, Moose." He patted Victor's shoulder.

Victor quickly nodded his head. "Yeah, definitely. Always room for no one- more. One more! Yeah... I'm just gonna go." Victor tripped on his way to the ice, making you raise an eyebrow.

"He's not usually like that... he's a big fan." Drew explained.

You nodded slowly. "Noted."

You sat down and watched the practice, your eyes occasionally glancing to number 90. Who also would be caught staring at you.

After practice, you walked up to him.

"Nice practice." You complimented.

"Thanks, bet you're used to it being a star player and all." Victor smiled shyly, his words making you chuckle.

Victor swore he felt his cheeks flush at the sound of your laughter.

"When's your next home game?" You asked.

Victor answered. "About a week from now. We face the rangers."

"Ah, your old team." You sighed. "Must be bittersweet, huh?"

Victor shrugged. "It's always nice to see old friends."

You then noticed the rest of the team piling in.

"Guess, I'll see you at the game then." You walked off.

"They're coming to the game." Victor smiled as his teammates walked by.

"You're whipped." Elias snorted.

"Nope, just a man in awe." Victor wrapped an arm around his shoulders, the young swede shrugged it off immediately.

"Dude, cmon you're all sweaty!"

"So are you!"

One week later

Victor finally exited the locker room, his face brightens when he sees you.

"You actually came," He sighed.

You shrugged. "Course I did."

The two of you walked down the hall.

He smiled. "How was it? Did I do any good?"

"You got a hat trick, I'd say that's pretty good. And you were the first star of the game." You answered.

Victor shook his head with a smile. "Gordie howe hat trick." He corrects.

"Still a hat trick." You argued.

Victor chuckled. "Still a hat trick. Though I doubt my mom will be happy when she finds out."

You nodded. "Yeah, you can't ruin that pretty face."

Victor nearly tripped after hearing your words.

"Pretty face?" He questioned.

You looked at him. "Yeah. Pretty face for a pretty boy."

"You wanna go out sometime? To dinner?" He asks, testing the waters.

You smiled softly at him. "Sure. Text me when you're free."

"Yeah..." Victor watched you walk away, only now realizing you were in his jersey. "Will do."
