By denying/not confirming Huma as a ship. Not only did Descendants break shippers hearts.

But they ALSO implied that the VK's can only be loved by an AK! That a VK cannot properly love another VK. That the VK's can only be loved by someone 'good.' I mean who do they imply that Harry ends up with at the end of D3? Audrey! An AURADON KID! (even if Harry ending up with Audrey makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE! They still implied it.)

Huma was the movies chance to show that the VK's didn't have to just find love 'over the bridge.'

- she is also very sensitive and craves contact, so someone is always touching her
