Okay, so this year has been... interesting. While I still have no home, no job and a long etc., I've been ridiculously productive. And not only in drawing but mostly writing. There's a lot coming on and I can't wait to share it with you!

January: I got some news at the beginning of the year: I'm autistic! While I was shocked at first, then everything started making sense. Like, everything. I started taking my time with two Gingaria illustrations and I think this one shows how much my art has improved. It's still one of my favorites.

February: I got on board on a behemoth of a project: doing my own magazine special for my next book. It has comics, character sheets and a lot of information. It was exhausting but I'm so happy about the final result and I'm going to do some prints.

March: My heart has been extremely soft this year and I've surprised myself drawing a lot of couples and writing a lot of fluff. One of them was our Jlaire, of course.

April: I finally watched Wednesday and drew a t-shirt design with the whole family.

May: Another big project! I made my own version of the Goose Game, called Dragon Game and with the characters of Zem. It was so funny having to create all those small drawings and the dragon character.

June: Hyped with Nimona, which ended up being quite good. I enjoyed drawing this version of the characters, even though there weren't many references back on those days (it reminded me of my HTTYD2 era).

July: More couple fluff! I can't share this one yet, but it's Zemry. Painting all those flowers took me days.

August: Another one I can't share yet. I also did a lot of concept art for my next books and this is one of them. I can't say much about this character yet, but they were such a delight to write.

September: Finally watched Over the Garden Wall and loved it. It had been a while since I had to adapt characters to my style but it was so fun! I made a comic too.

October: Back on the Jimtober bandwagon! I wasn't sure if I was going to do it or not but found some free time and here we are.

November: I find it interesting that I've been making new comics after all these years. I did two of Gingaria, this one about Kylkos.

December: And ending again with Gingaria. I wanted to do something with Vitha in her Winter Ball dress and I think it ended up looking great (does this means next year is Kylkos' turn?, huh...).

So overall, maybe it wasn't the best year (we've been having some really bad years in a row), we still don't know where we are going to live and now I have yet another problem to take care of, but... I've kept on creating. And that's enough for me.

I’ll answer for Linnea, the protagonist of my WIP Viltha (WIP page)!

The Sun: When does your character sit back and enjoy themselves? When she is at peace with her loved ones. She truly values her relationship with others, especially her family, although she often seems heartless and uninterested. Sometimes she’s too stubborn to admit she was wrong and that’s when she is unable to get any rest or relax.

The Tower: When has your character lost an ideal or relationship? I’m not quite sure if I got this question right, so I’ll just answer it how I understood. Linnea has lost her ideal of perfect love in a relationship when she was around 18 years old. Back then she fell deeply in love with a girl. They spent a lot of time together and at first everythings was great. But with time, as they got to know each other better, she found more and more things her girlfriend did, that annoyed her. But she kept quiet about it, as she wanted the romance to be “perfect”, without any fights or arguments. In the end it didn’t work out and she realised, talking about problems, even if a little fighting is involved, may often be the better choice, even if that seemed wrong.

The Magician: How does your character unleash their creativity or resourcefulness? Oh, Linnea loves stitching, sewing, embroidery and that sort of stuff. She loves to brainstorm new ideas, especially ones to make into a present for others! A lot of times she puts creativity into talking with other people, as in coming up with new ideas or figuring stuff out. That’s when she can truly let go of her inhibitions and just let her creativity flow.

As a female writer, it's really important to me to create female characters who are different, varied and inclusive. Thanks to you, I can still work on Legends of Gingaria, and there are even more female characters coming!

Vitha, Anne y Litxii: Gotxinka

This sure has been an eventful year... in a lot of ways. 

January: While living in an empty house, I struggled learning how to use Clip Studio Paint. Yep, this comic is from back then, so you can have an idea of how long is taking me to post anything.

February: This is a sneak peek for one of the next comics.

March: As the day to finally leave my crumbling house full of cracks came nearer, I tackled on a big project on CSP: making portraits of my Gingaria characters. Here’s Vitha in all her glory. 

April: I left the house where I’ve spent most of my life and suffered a big art block. 

May: Luckily, this beatiful gal called Iokari was there for me. I drew her in her four god outfits and that helped me a lot.

June: Time for my most famous comic this year.

July: Got yet another art block as summer came with full force. But hey, I was sketching for my next book.

August: Forced myself to make this little project for Kylkos’ ad.

September: Started making more content for my Ko-Fi shop, including paper dolls of the characters from Zem.

October: Participated in Jimtober once again, just trying to have fun. Well, most of the prompts ended up being the opposite...

November: Drew this Litxii between projects and working on my next books.

December: Needed something for a Holidays post, so got the original trio.
